It has been a few months since Seaway has graced an Ottawa venue, but on Saturday night, they finally returned. The five-piece pop-punk band from Oakville, Ontario went on a "Vacation" with their fans at Brass Monkey, in support of their newest album. The band consists of Ryan Locke (vocals), Patrick Carleton (guitar/vocals), Andrew Eichinger (guitar), Adam Shoji (bass), and Ken Taylor (drums).

Fans packed into the venue; eager to see the Oakville lads tear up the stage. Playing to a sold out crowd, Seaway started off their show with "Slam", a song that starts slow before picking up to the sound that Seaway is known for. The next song was a perfect choice to get the fans on their feet and jumping to the drumbeat, "Something Wonderful" had the crowd rocking, setting the atmosphere for the rest of the set.

The band changed it up throughout their set, alternating between new and old tracks, engaging the whole audience.  They ended off their set with "Airhead", an energetic track that had the crowd going wild and at the end, left a memorable impression of their performance within the minds of the audience.

Since being signed to Pure Noise Records in 2014, Seaway has been unstoppable, touring around the globe and playing to thousands of people. Once their tour as a support for Canadian band, Silverstein, concludes, Seaway embarks for a short stint in Japan and will be hitting the UK in the New Year.
